Aircraft painting specialist Aviation Exteriors Louisiana (AvEx) has selected Veryon Tracking+ to manage its new line of heavy maintenance activities.
With over 30 years of painting experience under its belt, AvEx, located in New Iberia, Louisiana, recently decided to expand its service offering by adding heavy maintenance and aircraft passenger to freighter conversion to its service portfolio. To accommodate this, AvEx is immediately repurposing one of its three existing hangars for maintenance and will look to add further hangar facilities shortly.
The increase in operational activity highlighted their need for a state-of-the-art system to manage the new business lines. As such, AvEx conducted an extensive research project, and after demonstrations and meetings with multiple providers, Tracking+ was selected as the solution of choice.
"Our new additional operations will only be able to grow if we can manage the increased activity volume and analyze effectively, something Tracking+ will allow us to do with ease," says Jerry Hernandez, CEO at AvEx. "We were very impressed with the system's intuitiveness. This and Veryon's professionalism and intellectual knowledge base made Tracking+ a sound choice for AvEx."
AvEx will use Tracking+ to manage the planning, assigning, and execution of maintenance tasks and their commercial activities, inventory, and employees.
Julian Stourton of Veryon comments, "We are very excited to be working with AvEx as they embark on this new venture. Implementing our solution from the get-go will allow them to make the best possible start with these new service lines. Our teams will now work hard to get the system running to ensure AvEx's continued growth in the MRO marketplace."
