SpotLight® solution deployed for F-35 is embedded in the Portable Maintenance Aid (PMA) supporting squadron-level operations world-wide.
MISSISSAUGA, ONTARIO, CANADA – October 31, 2018 – ATP, the leading provider of troubleshooting, reliability and defect trend analysis solutions – today announced that it has been awarded follow-on business by Lockheed Martin to provide SpotLight® software for the F-35 Lightning II Joint Strike Fighter (JSF). The award covers software for the aircraft’s logistics system to be delivered under LRIP 11 (Low-Rate Initial Production, Lot 11) and will be delivered by CaseBank during the calendar year 2018.
The SpotLight® Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) application is the basis of the AFRS (Anomaly and Fault Resolution System) in the F-35 sustainment concept. AFRS augments the F-35’s sophisticated built-in diagnostic systems with real-world troubleshooting solutions contained in a specialized diagnostic database, accessible by all F-35 maintenance technicians, worldwide.
SpotLight dramatically reduces troubleshooting time and A799 “No Fault Found” instances, by rapidly converging on the most likely root cause for a given set of symptoms, codes and associated data, saving time, parts and promoting fleet readiness. ATP’s SpotLight software is an integral part of the Portable Maintenance Aid (PMA) suite supporting the F-35, and has been supplied to the program by CaseBank since the beginning of the program.
