Veryon welcomed Amy Broughton as the new Chief People Officer. In her role, she is at the helm of all aspects of Veryon’s global people operations, guiding the company toward a future of enhanced teamwork, innovation, and growth.
Broughton brings over 20 years of progressive experience in organizational strategy, talent management, talent acquisition, M&A integration, and has operated at scale across multiple private equity-owned companies.
Broughton adds, “Together, we will cultivate an environment where everyone is not just encouraged but empowered to bring their unique talents and perspectives to the table, enabling them to do their life's best work.”
Most recently, Broughton served as the Chief Operating Officer and Chief People Officer at SurePoint, a leader in the legal technology space, where she spearheaded large-scale transformation and change management efforts across business and people operations. Broughton also served as the Head of HR at Hobsons, an education technology provider.

John Talmadge was also welcomed to the team as Veryon’s Vice President of Business Development. In his new role, Talmadge will be tasked with cultivating strategic partnerships with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) across the aviation industry to boost revenue and enhance profitability.
Talmadge is an accomplished leader in the aviation industry with experience in building teams within highly technical and process-driven organizations. He has extensive international experience, working with both U.S. and foreign governments on policy and operations issues. Talmadge, an accomplished pilot, has his Bachelor of Science degree in aviation science from Northwestern State University. Most recently, Talmadge served as Chief Dispatch Instructor for Delta Aircraft Dispatching, and before that, he was an Aircraft Dispatcher Instructor for Sheffield School of Aeronautics. He has expertise in several areas, including aviation operations control, military airlift, FAA liaison, aircraft dispatcher government affairs, and air carrier operations executive sales, among others. Talmadge also served in the Army National Guard as a UH-1H and C-141 Crew.
Bill Thompson recently joined Veryon as the Enterprise Account Executive at Veryon. In his role, Thompson is responsible for driving sales of Veryon Publications and establishing strong relationships with aircraft MROs and operators of large aircraft fleets. He is a lifelong aviation enthusiast with 28 years of experience in the industry holding Inspection Authorization and Airframe & Powerplant ratings. Thompson is also a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving four years as a system specialist on P-3 Orions.
Along with additions to the Veryon team, several other internal advancements within the organization reflect a dedication to growth and represent a strategic investment in the company's future success.
Haley Martin was recently promoted to Senior Vice President of Marketing. In her new role, Martin oversees the company’s overall marketing strategy, including brand, communications, content, digital marketing, product marketing, and demand generation. She has over 10 years of experience leading and developing marketing teams at fast-paced B2B tech companies.
Veryon also promoted Stephanie Hart to Chief Customer Officer. In her new role, Hart focuses on improving processes to deliver customer projects efficiently and ensuring that customers successfully deploy and realize the value of Veryon’s products. She joined Veryon in 2013 and has held various positions throughout her career in project management and professional services.
