2023 Rewind: Celebrating Veryon's Milestones & Looking Ahead to 2024

Reflecting on the past year, the team at Veryon is filled with gratitude for the multiple ways that the company has taken off in new directions in 2023. Veryon soared to new heights in 2023 with hard work, supportive customers, new products, an exciting rebrand, awards, an acquisition, and so much more. As we reflect on these highlights, we're excited about what's to come in 2024. 

ATP is Now Veryon

One of the most notable moments for Veryon this year was the unveiling of a new era of uptime and innovation with the transformation into Veryon. The new branding was inspired by game-changing technology, a promise to always be on for customers, and to better reflect the ability to lead the industry by taking technology to the next level with machine-learning capabilities. Through a creative and strategic process, the team selected a new name and identity that felt equal parts precise, reliable, and visionary.

Awards

As a leading provider of information services and software solutions for the aviation industry, Veryon was honored to be recognized with a number of awards in 2023.

In January, Defect Analysis was named a winner in the Innovation Awards presented by Business Intelligence Group. This industry-leading solution was also recognized in March for their Artificial Intelligence Excellence Awards program. Defect Analysis uses natural language processing and machine learning to analyze aircraft defect information, automatically pinpointing and organizing issue clusters. Currently in use on 25 percent of the world’s commercial airline fleet, it uncovers recurring defects and previously undetected issues, at both the tail and fleet level.

In October, Business Intelligence Group also announced that Veryon had been named a winner in the 2023 Public Relations and Marketing Excellence Awards in the External Campaign of the Year category. The team was recognized for successfully launching a comprehensive rebranding campaign aimed at more accurately representing the broad portfolio of aviation product offerings.

In November, Work Center was honored with the Bronze Merit Award for Technology in the software, apps, and engineering category. This award acknowledges Veryon Work Center's outstanding contribution to the aviation industry and its commitment to technological innovation, setting new service center management solutions standards.

Industry Events

This year, the team had the great pleasure of attending multiple industry events, including:

  • NBAA Schedulers and Dispatcher Conference: January 24–26 in Nashville, Tennessee. One of the highlights during this event was the unveiling of a new suite of features to the Veryon Flight Operations platform.
  • HAI Heli-Expo: March 6–9 in Atlanta, Georgia. Coming off the heels of the announcement of Honeywell authorizing the T55 Turboshaft Engine, Veryon was able to network with the thousands in attendance at the show and share more about now having the ability to provide maintenance publications through the platform to any organization that is maintaining a T55 engine.
  • NBAA Maintenance Conference: May 2–4 in Hartford, Connecticut. Veryon was able to connect with like-minded individuals in the industry to show how an all-in-one solution gives customers real-time visibility of data across platforms.
  • NBAA Business Aviation Convention and Exhibition (BACE): October 17–19 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Veryon debuted its newest, award-winning offering, Work Center.

Acquisition

Another pivotal moment was the acquisition of Rusada, a prominent player in the aviation maintenance management software industry since 1987. The strategic move solidified the commitment to innovation while strengthening its position as a trusted aviation management software market leader.

With the completion of this acquisition, Veryon gained access to Rusada's extensive expertise, advanced technology, and global customer base from every corner of the industry, including commercial, charter, business, military, and government operations. Also gained in the acquisition was Envision, the company’s key solution and a single hub for managing airworthiness, maintenance, and flight operations. The product’s wide range of functionality paired with user-friendly interfaces provides users with accurate and insightful data.

New Products and Enhancements

Introduction of Work Center

After working with longtime customer ExecuJet Charter and discussing with them if there was a potential for Veryon to help with an outside aircraft that wasn’t being tracked within the system, the Veryon team was inspired to create Work Center. As the only fully capable service center management solution on the market designed for business aviation operators and management companies, it allows users to simplify the maintenance and return-to-service processes with streamlined invoicing, reliable integrations, and real-time airworthiness information — all in a unified platform.

Integration of Flight Operations and FuelerLinx

With the partnership between Flight Operations and FuelerLinx, operators no longer have to build duplicate trip itineraries in FuelerLinx or manually communicate fuel order details to crew members, saving an estimated 10 to 15 minutes of time per trip. Among other benefits, operators will also have the capability of automatically syncing their aircraft schedules to their FuelerLinx account where fuel planning and ordering can be performed.
