Bigger, Bolder, & Better than Ever: Our Experience at 2021 NBAA-BACE
ATP Oct 22, 2021 3:49:00 AM
Having virtual tradeshows isn’t so bad, but you miss the face-to-face connection with like-minded people. That’s why NBAA-BACE 2021 was so important to many of us who have been unable to connect on a deeper level and travel with our colleagues, customers, and friends. So from October 12th-14th, 2021, we were so happy to have attended NBAA-BACE with a full team and a new booth making new connections and reconnecting with old friends.
With hundreds of exhibitors, thousands of attendees, and a smaller show than previous years, 2021 NBAA-BACE was a success! In addition, there was a focus on sustainability at this show, with over 100 exhibitors, including ATP, signing a Green Pledge to reduce their carbon footprint at the show.
Keep on reading if you’re interested in hearing about our 2021 NBAA-BACE experience and how this show was different from past years!
Bigger, Bolder, Better ATP
BACE 2021 marked the first show where ATP exhibited since the acquisition of Flightdocs in 2020. There was no better place than NBAA-BACE to show business aviation our unique suite of products. With the spotlight on Flightdocs, traffic in the booth showcased interest and curiosity. Since 2003 Flightdocs has provided operators with an innovative approach to managing aircraft maintenance, inventory, and flight operations.
Flightdocs wasn’t the only highlight though, the Aviation Hub and its advanced approach to accessing technical and regulatory publications drew in the fans, old and new. ATP’s first big project after the acquisition of Flightdocs was to get our users access to the Aviation Hub directly from within Flightdocs. Designed to break down barriers and create a more efficient process, our users call it a game changer. To learn more about our integration, click here.
We were so thrilled to finally attend a show as the bigger, bolder, and better version of ATP.
Aircraft Display at Henderson Executive Airport
As mentioned in our previous NBAA-BACE blog, the aircraft display has always been one of our favorite offerings of this event. Our team had the opportunity to take the BLADE Urban Air Mobility helicopter flight to the, which was a historical first for BLADE and NBAA-BACE. Not only did we enjoy the flight, but the hospitality we experienced by BLADE was phenomenal, and we recommend you take a flight with them if you get a chance!
While at the display, we had the opportunity to visit and privately tour many new and upgraded aircraft and, of course, some classics. Some of our highlights of the day include: getting a glimpse of the new interior of the Dassault Falcon 8X, stepping inside the new Bombardier Challenger 3500, visiting our friends over at Cirrus Aircraft and viewing their stunning display, and of course, taking a step inside Dynamic Aviation’s historical military C-47, Miss Virginia.
Giveaways
We always like to find something fun to give away at the booth, and this year we decided on the Bose Frames Tempo – Sports Audio Sunglasses to two separate attendees who stopped by our booth. We want to take a moment here to recognize them and congratulate them formally. Our day one winner was Raymond Sparks, Aviation Manager at Cafaro Company Hangar #6. Our day two winner was Phillip Wolford, President/Partner at Jet Air Inc. Congratulations to you both, and we enjoyed chatting with you at our booth!

All in all, even though this was a smaller show compared to previous years, we had an incredible time. We were able to come together as a larger company and display our offerings to the industry in a bold way. Our experience at 2021 NBAA-BACE was one to remember, and we already look forward to the next NBAA-BACE in Orlando.
