Gene Austin

Gene has over 30 years of experience in leading high growth technology businesses as Chairman, CEO and VP/GM. 

Gene has had extensive experience in leading both private venture-backed and public technology companies. He was the member of the executive team that took CareerBuilder.com public in 1999. Later, as CEO of Convio, Gene lead a team that grew the business to a successful IPO in 2010 and followed by a sale to Blackbaud in 2012. Most recently, he led Bazaarvoice through a very difficult turnaround resulting in a successful sale in February of 2018.
